Some strong IGCSE artwork from my Year 11s since January! They have worked really hard and deserve some excellent grades.
I've not done any linocut printmaking for a few years now, but thought I'd give it a go with my current Year 10 class. Now I'm wondering why I left it so long! The students loved the process (even the fiddly carving) and ended up with some effective pieces. It was pretty much 100% successful, in that everyone completed a final piece, although obviously some students took to the process more easily than others.
I've included a piece by everyone in the group, so you can see the full range of ability here! Not everyone had managed a reduction and second layer of colour by the time I photographed these at the end of last term, but I think everyone has completed them now. There are two or three at the end of the slideshow which still have only their first layer of colour in place.
